While I used my phone, it’s also compatible with laptops via Bluetooth, and the connector often comes with a CD for computer software.
It worked perfectly with my Nissan Primastar, which has an OBD2 connector. I’m also planning to test it on an older Nissan Maverick (Terrano II). For older models like my 1997 Maverick, an OBD2 to Nissan adapter is necessary as it doesn’t have the standard OBD2 port. However, Terrano models from 2000 onwards should be directly compatible with OBD2.
