Mahindra Sets New Standards with “Carantee OBD2” Mileage Guarantee for Truck Range

They have announced an industry-first “Get More Mileage or Give the Truck Back” guarantee for their entire BS6 OBD II range, encompassing BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO models of HCV, ICV, and LCV trucks. This bold initiative directly addresses the escalating challenges of rising fuel costs and stricter emission regulations, promising unmatched fluid efficiency to their customers.

The newly enhanced range features Mahindra’s proven 7.2L mPower Engine (for HCVs) and mDi Tech Engine (for ILCVs), both equipped with FuelSmart Technology and Mild EGR systems. These advancements include a validated After Treatment System that significantly reduces AdBlue consumption, alongside other technological upgrades. Furthermore, the integration of the cutting-edge iMAXX Telematics solution ensures and monitors enhanced mileage performance. Mahindra’s mileage guarantee goes beyond just fuel efficiency; it encompasses the combination of the lowest AdBlue consumption, delivering what they term “Best in Class Fluid Efficiency.” This comprehensive approach is at the heart of their “Carantee Obd2” promise.

To substantiate these improvements, Mahindra conducted rigorous fluid efficiency trials across 21 product categories, involving 71 models, including vehicles from competitors. These extensive tests, covering over 100,000 kilometers under diverse load and road conditions, were meticulously supervised and validated by an independent, credible agency. The results definitively confirmed Mahindra’s dedication to providing exceptional mileage and reinforcing their reputation for dependability and efficiency within the commercial vehicle landscape.
